Asia Carrera (born Jessica Steinhauser on August 6, 1973) is a former adult film actress known for her work in the 1990s and early 2000s. Her heritage is a blend of German and Japanese ancestry, and she grew up in New Jersey, where she was an exceptional student. She is particularly well-known for her intelligence, having been a member of Mensa International, a high-IQ society, which helped her stand out in the adult entertainment industry.

2.  You do know that what you’re doing is illegal?

Is it really illegal?  If you conduct a simple Google search, you can find pledging stories from a variety of sources, and even the Asian Sorority thread at the Soompi forums is a goldmine of sorority secrets.  There are literally DPs everywhere, leaking info.  Go to them and reprimand them before you go to me.  This is just a rumor mill for pure entertainment.

3.  What are your sources for this information?

I’ll detail out where I find every story in the individual posts, and I will make it known if a source is questionable, aka “I heard from my roommate who overheard it from work.”

4.  Who are you?  Are you in a sorority?

I’m a student at a large state university.  I won’t say if I’m affiliated or not.  That’s not for you to know.  😉

5.  Why are you spilling all these secrets?

Because I find this topic to be so interesting.  There is just something about the secret rituals of these sororities that I can’t ignore.

6.  What is your opinion on hazing?

I disagree with any form of hazing.  I disagree with pledges doing strenuous physical activity, such as running, wall sits, and push ups.  I disagree with quizzing.  I disagree with probably the entire concept of pledging since so many aspects of pledging can be categorized under hazing.  Anything that causes pledges to feel like shit is wrong.  Sisterhood is not about forcing pledges to run to the sorority house at 4AM for quizzing. 

7.  I’m a DP of __________ sorority, and I want to submit my story.

Oh lord, bless your soul.  I will set up a contact system later so that readers can submit their stories, but I thank you endlessly for your future contribution.  It’s because of people like you that such juicy secrets are floating around the Internet and by word of mouth.

8.  I’m considering rushing a sorority, but reading these stories scares me…

This site is not meant to discourage potential new members from rushing.  I actually think Greek life would be a great addition to any Asian girl’s college life.  Even though pledging is questionable and pretty damn difficult, once you cross, the sisterhood is forever.  Your pledge sisters could be your future bridesmaids.  Just try it out and see if it’s the perfect fit for you.  (Then come back and tell me if the pledging stories here are true!  Kidding.)
